BC Ferries is implementing some new rules today (Tues) which will restrict passengers from closed car decks.
Darren Johnston, Director of fleet operations says these are the requirements of Transport Canada and they will try to work with their customers if they are any exceptional circumstances.
Johnston says if you do have a special request, you should bring that up with their ticket booth agents.
