BC Housing back on the Coast to talk about shelter

BC Housing will be back on the Sunshine Coast Tuesday to talk about their plans for a new 40-bed homeless shelter.
Craig Crawford, with BC Housing says this time, they will have a formal sit-down presentation followed by a question and answer period…..
Nearly 170 people attended the last public meeting which did not include a formal presentation, but rather a series of poster boards and representatives available to answer questions.
Crawford says there were lots of questions about safety and security…..
The proposed shelter site is at Ebbtide Street and Trail Avenue and would have beds for about 40 people.
The meeting, Tuesday will be held at the Sechelt Indian Band Hall beginning at 5:30.
