After a 4 decade long career in public education, the Superintendent of Nanaimo Ladysmith School District is calling it quits.
John Blain is retiring, effective next August…..
Steve Rae, Board Chair says Blain did an amazing job navigating the district through numerous changes such as the new curriculum and reporting structures as well as the recent changes following the Supreme Court of Canada decision.
The Board has hired a human resources recruitment firm to conduct a nationwide search for a replacement.
