West Brooke By the Sea, a proposed independent and assisted living facility is moving along in Sechelt after receiving a third reading at council.
After four public hearings and several changes by the developer, councillor Noel Muller along with councillor Mike Shanks, Doug Wright and Darnelda Sieger voted in favour of giving the proposal a third reading.
Councillor Alice Lutes and Darren Inkster felt the proposal needed more changes because the public has raised concerns about the size of the building, the extra traffic it would bring along with other issues.
