The District of Sechelt is looking to ensure, as residents age, the Official Community Plan considers their interests.
The PlanĀ is the framework that guides future development and the District isĀ considering expanding it to include policies or land use designations forĀ different types of care facilities.
The District’s Connie Jordison says they want to hear from area residents about theĀ issues surrounding developments that provide services to seniors whether it’s for services in their own home orĀ long term care….
There is an online survey on the District’s website on the topic and, onĀ September 7th, there will be an Open House and E-Town Hall on the subject.
