The Independent Investigation Office of BC is investigating after a suspect was injured during an arrest in Nanaimo.
RCMP say they got a call just last Thursday afternoon about a man on a bus threatening passengers and inappropriately touching women on the bus.
RCMP located the suspect and attempted to arrest him.
Police say the man resisted and the incident ended with the suspect on the ground.
The injuries the suspect sustained are described as possibly life threatening.
No one else was hurt.
The IIO is asking any potential witnesses to call.
