NDP rolls back tuition for Adult Basic Education

Since 2015, enrolment in Adult Basic Education and English Language Learning programs dropped 35 per cent.
That’s the year the Liberals imposed tuition fees for the programs.
Now, Premier John Horgan says those programs will, once again, be free….
Horgan says anyone who has paid for the program this fall will get a refund.
In the meantime, former B.C. Liberal leader Gordon Wilson is threatening to sue Premier John Horgan.
Wilson was fired last week by the NDP government.
He had been working as the “LNG Buy B.C. Advocate” and following his firing Horgan and his Jobs Minister said they couldn’t find a single report of Wilson’s work.
Wilson has hired a Powell River lawyer and is demanding Horgan and and Jobs Minister Bruce Ralston issue an apology and full retraction for their statements.
Horgan is now apologizing……
Wilson says he wasn’t hired to write reports.
