Strong winds on the weekend brought out the kite-boarders in Sechelt’s Davis Bay. And, the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue.
Crews from Halfmoon Bay and Gibsons were called out around noon Saturday, March 29th when a couple of boarders got into trouble.
One was plucked from the water suffering from minor hypothermia and handed over to the care of waiting paramedics.
