The funeral service for a prominent Nanaimo businessman will take place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre Saturday, July 22nd.

Tom Harris died unexpectedly last Thursday while visiting friends in Washington state.
Harris is connected to Harris Mazda, was president of Harris Kia and Tom Harris Cellular and was a partner in other businesses.
Harris was also Nanaimo’s Citizen of the Year in 2004 and, in 2012 received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal recognizing his service to the community and to Canada.
