Nanaimo RCMP have found 12-year-old Elissa Fawdry. She was found around 5:30pm on Thursday, March 27. She had been missing since March 26, after she was last seen around 7:30pm on Centre St.
Police had been very concerned about her safety and said a medical issue put her at greater risk. Luckily they say she is fine and has been reunited with her family.
Nanaimo RCMP are thanking local media and social media outlets for their help.
