A 25 year old woman is dead following a single vehicle collision south of Nanaimo.
RCMP say the woman was the lone occupant of the car and it appears she lost control of the vehicle before striking a telephone pole around 8:30 Thursday night in the Cedar area.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or saw the deceased within a few hours prior to the crash to call the Nanaimo detachment.
