Students at Park Avenue Elementary School had a different kind of morning today (Wed).
There was a bomb threat at the school.
Nanaimo Ladysmith School District spokesperson, Dale Burgoes says the threat was received around 9 and students were immediately escorted over to, the nearby, John Barsby School where parents were invited to pick them up, if they wanted to…..
Burgoes won’t say how the threat was received at this point.
It’s now business as usual at the school.
