Oceanside RCMP are calling it a case of “Grinchy-ness”.
They say somebody took an entire outdoor Christmas display from a home on Arrowsmith Way in French Creek.
Police say the intricate display included a large snowman, lights and several fully lit artificial trees. It was all taken sometime between December 10th and 11th, and RCMP say whoever did it probably needed a truck or other vehicle because of the amount of decorations taken.
Corporal Jesse Foreman says it’s a really disappointing and needless theft that takes away from the spirit of the holidays and puts people with similar displays on edge.
