Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating a couple of unusual thefts, and at least one of them probably involved a feat of strength.
Police say sometime between March 21st and 23rd, a thief stole an antique anvil from a property in the 8900 block of Armstrong Way in Halfmoon Bay. It weighed about 50 kilos, or 100-pounds.
And, on March 18th, somebody took five burlap sacks full of snap brackets – 360 in all – from a job site in the 800 block of Gibsons way.  Snap brackets are used in forming during construction. RCMP say they have some security camera footage that could help track down a suspect.
They’re also asking anyone with information to contact the detachment or Crime Stoppers.
