The tax rate for the average property owner in the District of Sechelt is going up by 11.7 per cent.
Doug Stewart Sechelt’s Director of Corporate and Financial Services says for taxes only, you’ll be looking at a $79 increase.
Stewart says nearly half of Sechelt will see a $90 increase on their bill because they’re not on the sewer system.
