Thieves appear to have grabbed what they could carry of baseball bats and football receiver gloves during a break and enter at Kirby’s Source for Sports in Nanaimo.
6 of the baseball bats stolen are unique and just twenty B45 wooden bats exist in all of B.C.
The thieves also made off with 3 Louisville Sluggers, 8 bright red and 4 black Under Armour football receiver gloves.
Police were summoned by an alarm at the business on Bowen Road on Wednesday and when they arrived found the front door smashed in and a crowbar lying nearby.
