There’s a Water Symposium on tap in Nanaimo.
Julie Pisani is the Drinking Water and Watershed Protection Coordinator for the Regional District of Nanaimo. She says they’re hosting the special event all day Friday at the VICC
Pisani says one highlight the Geological Survey of Canada will be showing off the results of a project which mapped the aquifers in Nanaimo, and 9 speakers will be presenting throughout the day.
The Water Symposium is free to attend. It runs from 8:30am-5pm at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre.
