Repeat offender arrested in Nanaimo

A repeat offender has been remanded into custody after he allegedly breached one of his conditions over the weekend. Paul Little had just been released, after serving time for aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault causing bodily harm, robbery, fraud, possession of a weapon and auto theft. The Ministry of Justice’s Corrections Branch sent out a warning Friday, saying Little was planning to call Nanaimo home.

Nanaimo RCMP arrested Little on Saturday, March 15, for allegedly breaching one of his conditions. He had been bound by a Section 810 Recognizance with 17 conditions. He appeared in Nanaimo Provincial court on Monday, March 17. The 28-year-old was remanded into custody and will appear via video teleconference on Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
