The big five of post-secondary education on the Island have teamed up to offer better service and more choice for students.
VIU, Camosun College, North Island College, Royal Roads University, and U-Vic are calling it the Vancouver Island Public Post Secondary Alliance
VIU President Ralph Nilson says, for example, it will now be easier for students to move between schools for training or specific courses.
Nilson also says the Alliance will help provide students with relevant training, locally, and make the schools more responsive to the communities they serve.
