It was a close vote, but taxpayers in Sechelt have given the OK to a $7.4-million loan for the wastewater treatment plant.
Preliminary results from Saturday’s referendum were 868 yes and 853 no, with a turn-out of just 23 per cent (official results will be released Monday).
