It’s a big leap for transportation options on the Sunshine Coast.
Coast Car Co-op launches tomorrow with an event in Gibsons
Johan Stroman is chair of the Co-op. He says it all starts at 11am at the new Gibsons Public Market on Gower Point Road.

Stroman says they’re also going to be offering food and the Co-op’s community partners, like Sunshine Coast Credit Union, Modo, The Progress Plan, Cooperators, and TRAC will be setting up booths.
Stroman says they’re excited to have Modo, Vancouver’s car share coming, because they’ll be announcing they’re putting a car in Horseshoe Bay. Coast Car Co-op has a roaming agreement with Modo. They’ve also got agreements with Nanaimo’s car share and the one in Victoria.
