Plans for a passenger-only ferry from Nanaimo to Vancouver are moving forward.
An independent, Technical Advisory Group has been struck to review the submissions received following a call for interested operators of such a ferry service.
A National Accounting Firm and a Marine Transportation Consultant will review the submissions and make a recommendation.
Island Ferry Services Limited, Riverside Marine and Clipper Navigation make up the trio of interested operators.
A recommendation from the Advisory Group is expected by October.
