A plan to roll out new wheeled carts for garbage, recycling and kitchen waste to one third of Nanaimo’s residents has been nixed.
Instead, Charlotte Davis, manager of the Sanitation, Recycling and Public Works Department with the City of Nanaimo is back at the drawing board looking at a plan that could see the change happen city-wide….
Davis says a new plan will be presented to council later in August.
