RCMP are asking for public help

The mounties are looking for information from the public, after a business in Wilson Creek was broken into.

The Sunshine Coast RCMP responded to a call on July 24th and were told that a business in the 1900 block of Field Road had their fence cut through.

Several vehicles were rummaged through and a chainsaw, a solar panel, and a car stereo were stolen.

Police haven’t made any arrests and are asking anyone with information to call them.

And On July 22nd someone who was sitting in a bus shelter in Gibsons had to be taken to the hospital.

According to the RCMP, someone, while attempting to back into a parking spot, backed into a glass bus shelter in the 900 block of Gibsons Way and did significant damage to the shelter.

The driver was not impaired and was handed a Violation Ticket for Reverse While Unsafe.

No other serious injuries were reported.
