Residents of Sechelt are going to the polls well before November.
Wednesday is the first advance poll for the referendum on wastewater treatment plant funding.
The District is looking for voter approval to borrow about 7.4-million dollars through a Federation of Canadian Municipalities program. The loan also comes with a 1 million dollar grant. The new, $24-million, treatment plant is already under construction and should be completed by late this year.
Polls are open Wednesday from 8am to 8pm at the Seaside Centre. The next advance voting opportunity is March 5th.
The referdum itself is March 8th.
