Powell River Mounties are looking for information following an alleged abduction attempt.
Sergeant Kevin Day says a man in a truck approached an 8 year old boy and asked him to get into the truck.
The boy refused and the man drove away.
Day says the boys spoke with a man who was walking his dog in the area, who directed them to police…
The vehicle is described as an older model Toyota four-by-four.

The suspect is described a a white man, about 60 years old, had tattoos on his arms and, at the time was wearing a blue Superman t-shirt.
