The director for the Regional District of Nanaimo’s Yellowpoint area figures it will be next year before a controversial project comes back to the District table.
Alec McPherson is referring to the Boat Harbour Marina project in Yellowpoint.
He says the RDN has very little influence on the project as the water lot is privately held, but the province, local First Nation and federal government all have an interest in the proposal…..
McPherson says there has also been a lot of concern from the community about the proposed development at the privately owned water lot.
