The Genesis Christian Centre has the summer to figure out a more permanent solution to their homeless problem.
There are about 700 members of the congregation, with about 250 meeting each Sunday morning for a service and other activities.
Pastor Dan Cousins says they had to vacate their old location at Mount Benson Elementary School to make way for some school district programming but the hunt is on for a new facility…..
In the interim, the congregation will be holding Sunday services and other activities at the Departure Bay Activity Centre beginning this weekend and for the next 10 weeks.
