BC Ferries says the Queen of Coquitlam is sailing again on the Horseshoe Bay – Langdale run after mechanical problems forced the ship to hold in dock at Horseshoe Bay for nearly 3 hours Tuesday morning.
The issue is with the ship’s emergency generator. Engineers had to wait for parts to arrive, and they’re working to make the repairs. BC Ferries says they can do that safely while the ship sails, but because of the lost time travellers should expect delays and overloads into the afternoon.
