Starting next week, West Vancouver-Sea to Sky MLA Jordan Sturdy will be meeting with local officials on Vancouver Island and the coast to discuss the Sunshine Coast Fixed Link Feasibility Study.
It is a part of the initial consultation process and the meetings will take place over the next few weeks.
Direct bridge connections along the coast and a highway link around Jervis Inlet are just a few of the options that are being considered.
The meetings will be with local governments, First Nations, the chamber of commerce and with community leaders.
During the meetings, details for future public consultations will be discussed and the public will have an opportunity to give feedback on this feasibility study in the fall.
The government expects the Sunshine Coast Fixed Link Feasibility Study to be done by late 2016.
