63,000 dollars has been raised so far to replace the seats in the Malaspina Theatre at VIU.
That’s about the halfway point for the seat campaign.
Kamala Haughton, advancement and alumni relations coordinator with VIU says they would like to wrap up the campaign in the next couple of months….
Haughton says of the 63,000 dollars raised so far, the Mid Island Co-op kicked in 10,000 dollars and 45,000 dollars has come from private donations from individual theatre supporters.
