Leading up to the Sunshine Coast Pride Week, which begins this Sunday, Craig Cochrane with the Sunshine Coast Pride Committee says they have a few events planned.
They’ll be the Gibsons Library tonight (Wednesday) between 6-7:30 for a free open mic. And they’ll be at Mission Point Park in Davis Bay for their free “In The Park With Pride” event on Sunday.
Cochrane says they’re still shocked by what happened in Orlando and they hope to make a statement on Sunday at their In The Park with Pride event.
