Janette Loveys, Chief Administrative Officer for the SCRD says the timeline for the Chapman Lake water supply expansion project is changing.
Construction for the project was expected to start July this year, but that won’t happen as AECOM, the engineering consultants who were hired for the project, are still waiting for more approvals from BC Parks.
Loveys wants to assure people that they do have a backup plan, and there won’t be a repeat of last summer.
Loveys is confident the construction for the project will start for July of 2017.
