The B.C. Green Party recently held their annual convention in Victoria and handed out a few awards.
Kim Darwin from the Sunshine Coast is currently the Executive Provincial Council Secretary for the B.C. Green party she is the Rising Stars Award winner.
The award is given to people who are fairly new to politics.
Darwin says it was a big surprise because she didn’t find out about the good news until they announced it at the convention
