The mounties on the Sunshine Coast are trying to locate a young person who fell into the water up at the Malibu rapids in Jervis Inlet.
Captain Stu Robertson with the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Victoria says they’re helping out with the search.
As of last night, the missing person has not been found and search for the young individual will resume this morning.
The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre was made aware of the incident around one in the afternoon on Wednesday.
The RCMP says there are no further details about the missing male available at this time. They are expecting to provide another update sometime this afternoon.
