A new Residential Care facility is coming to Sechelt.
But it means the Shorncliffe and Totem facilities are set to close.

Tindall says she knows current workers at Shorncliffe and Totem will be affected but says they will have an opportunity to be interviewed by Trellis for ongoing employment opportunities at the new Silverstone Care Centre.They’re hoping to have it up and running by the end of 2018.
The BC Nurses’ Union says they will not be commenting on the plan until they have a better understanding of the agreements.
