The Sunshine Coast RCMP is hoping this past long weekend is indicative of what’s to come for the summer.
Constable Harrison Mohr says the Sunshine Coast RCMP had extra officers out on the roads and water, but the long weekend was a quiet and successful one for them.
He points out, each year, as the summer gets closer, the traffic volume increases dramatically. So Mounties are reminding people to drive safe.
Mohr confirms that starting now, they’ll have increased officers on patrol until the end of summer.
