As we get closer and closer to summer, families are thinking ahead about what their options are when their kids begin their summer break.
Recreation Program Coordinator Tiffany Velios says they have a program for low-income individuals and families called LIFE.
It stands for Leisure Inclusion For Everyone and it aims to help and reduce the financial barriers that some people on the Sunshine Coast are facing.
She says people who want to apply can go into any of their five recreational facilities with financial information and fill out an application.
Another option is you’re linked up to an agency such as the Ministry of Development or Community Services, their agency rep can refer you to the life program.
