It has been a year since Michael Maser from the Sunshine Coast launched his Choose News advocacy project.
Maser feels the mental health of Canadian children under the age of seven is being put at risk because of the way that news is presented these days.
The official launch was in May 2015 and so far, Maser feels that his project is gaining momentum.
He says Elizabeth May favours the project and hopes the issue gets brought forward to the House of Commons. And he hopes CRTC and Canadian Association of Broadcasting will change up their Violence Code, a code that was introduced in 1993.
