The Town of Gibsons is taking another step towards the construction of the George Hotel & Residences.
Councilors are agreeing to approve a development permit after town council last night.
Councilor Jeremy Valeriote is reminding people that this isn’t the only development permit that has to be approved.
Councilor Charlene SanJenko says she was satisfied with the staff report that was presented by the Director of Planning Andre Boel.
All the Councilors ended up voting in favour of issuing the first development permit for the George.
