Director Alice Lutes with the SCRD says water meters, emergency preparedness, and transportation were just a few of the subjects they talked about during the first community dialogue.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District will continue to host these dialogues throughout the month of May.
And Lutes says it is not just them who benefits from having these gatherings.
The last community dialogue for the Sechelt Nation region will be at the SIB Elders Boardroom sometime during June.
The date is yet to be confirmed.
