In 2014, Sunshine Coast Division of Family Practice teamed up with their partners to launch the A GP for Me program and they’re nearing the finish line for the three-year project.
Dr. Jane Bishop is the lead physician for A GP for Me on the Sunshine Coast and recommends people who look up “fetch” if they’re still looking for a family doctor.
She says over the three years, what they found out was that more people living on the Sunshine Coast already had family doctors compared to others in B.C.
