ShakeOutBC and the Insurance Bureau of Canada have announced the winners of the 2016 ‘Show Me ShakeOut’ contest.
Students from across the province were invited to create posters and videos showing the importance of earthquake preparedness.
There were some poster winners from Grades K-3 in our listening area.
They are, in first place, grade three student from the Nanaimo-Ladysmith school district, Athena Winters and Grade two student, from Nanaimo, Mattias Stahuliak.
