Mental health is the main focus in Canada this week
Susann Richter, Manager for Sunshine Coast Mental Health and Addictions says Mental Health Week is an important initiative.
She says people on the coast are knowledgeable when it comes to dealing with someone who suffers from mental illnesses.
She says in general, she thinks people are more aware of how important mental health is and things are changing for the better. But she says there’s still room for improvement.
