The Howe Sound Pulp and Paper Corporation says they’ve added an air monitoring quality station this year.
Sudhir Lamba, the mill’s Technical and Environment Manager says that’ll help them keep an eye out on things, while they do their annual boiler maintenance.
He does not expect the local air quality to exceed provincial odour limits and says the cleanup process is very well planned.
They start today (May 6th) and expect to be done in approximately two weeks.
