The Regional District of Nanaimo, Island Timberlands and TimberWest are joining forces with Crimestoppers to crack down on illegal dumping across the region.
The Region’s Larry Gardiner says the organizations spend a considerable amount of money annually trying to combat illegal dumping.
Gardiner says the public can help in a big way if they observe, record and report when they see illegal dumping occurring.
