RCMP are not revealing how they found out about a bomb threat at the Nanaimo District Secondary School this morning (Thurs).
But, RCMP Constable Gary O’Brien says the protocol following the notification was followed….
The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre was also evacuated as a precaution.
Everyone waited out the incident at the Nanaimo Ice Centre parking lot.
Following a search of the school everyone was allowed back into the facilities.
Nothing was found and the investigation is ongoing.
