2016 marks the 130th Anniversary of Island Rail.
In celebration of that the Island Explorer Excursion train will run along the Island Rail Corridor from the historic Nanaimo Train Station to Wellington.
But Jenn Houtby-Ferguson with the Island Corridor Foundation says those tickets, however, have been pre-sold and are sold out….
The family friendly event goes from 10 to 3 and includes tours of the train and a variety of other activities
