Property taxes could be on the rise for the Town of Gibsons.
Council had to make some adjustments on their budget to come up with $40, 000 for the new Sunshine Coast Ecnomic Development Board.
Ian Poole, Director of Finance says increasing the property tax to 3.5% might be an option.
The town of Gibsons hope to have the three readings of the adjustments on April 19th, and then a possible adoption on May 3rd. The budget has to be adopted by May 15th.
