School Lockdown in Nanaimo

A 32 year man suffered some dog bites during an arrest in Nanaimo.
It all started at the Home Hardware in the Brooks Landing mall when the suspect was allegedly attempting to use some credit cards that were not his.
When he was confronted about the cards by employees he produced a knife and fled the store on foot.
Nananimo RCMP Constable Gary O’Brien says the Woodlands High School was locked down for a short while…..
The suspect was found in an alley a short time later.
He is now facing a raft of charges including Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public Peace, Breach of Probation and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
